Reinders Corporation cares deeply about your privacy. Therefore, we only process data we need for (improving) our services and treat the information we collect about you and your use of our services. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services of Reinders Corporation accessed thereon. The effective date for the validity of these terms is 21/06/2022, with the publication of a new version superseding the validity of all previous versions. This privacy policy describes what data about you is collected by us, what this data is used for, and with whom and under what conditions, if any, this data may be shared with third parties. We also explain how we store your data and how we protect your data from misuse, and what rights you have with respect to the personal data you provide to us.

About data processing

Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it (or have it stored), what security techniques we use and who has access to the data.

Information we collect

We collect and process the following personal information about you:

  • Mobile
  • Company name
  • How we use your information

We will use the information we collect about you for the following purposes:

  • Marketing/Promotion
  • Collecting customer feedback
  • Support
  • Administrative info
  • Targeted advertising
  • Site protection

If we want to use your information for other purposes, we will ask for your consent and will use your information only after receiving your consent and then only for the purpose(s) for which consent was given, unless we are required by law to do otherwise.

How we share your information

We do not share your personal information with third parties without seeking your consent, except in limited circumstances as described below:

  • Advertising service
  • Analytics
  • Data collection and processing.

We require these third parties to use the personal data we disclose to them only for the purpose for which it was disclosed and to retain it for no longer than necessary to fulfill the stated purpose.

We may also disclose your personal data for the following purposes: (1) to comply with any applicable law, regulation, court order or other legal process; (2) to enforce your agreements with us, including this Privacy Policy; or (3) to respond to claims that your use of the Service violates third-party rights. If the Service or our company is merged or acquired by another company, your information will be one of the assets transferred to the new owner.

Retention of your information

We retain your personal information with us for 90 days to 2 years after users terminate their accounts or for as long as we need it to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected as described in this Privacy Policy. We may need to retain certain information longer, such as for record keeping/reporting purposes in accordance with applicable law or for other legitimate reasons, such as enforcement of legal rights, fraud prevention, etc. Residual anonymous information and aggregated information, which cannot (directly or indirectly) identify you, may be stored indefinitely.

Software for online stores

Shopify

Our webshop is developed with Shopify software. Personal data that you make available to us for our services will be shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for other purposes. Shopify is obliged by the agreement we have with them to take appropriate security measures. These security measures include the use of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Shopify is a certified processor of credit card data. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information related to your use of the software, no personal data is collected and/or stored. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own corporate group to further improve its services. Shopify takes into account the applicable legal retention periods for (personal) data. The EU/US Privacy Shield applies, your data may be processed in the United States.

Email and mailing lists

 

MailChimp

We send our email newsletters through MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email automatically sent through our website, you will see the “unsubscribe” link. You will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal information is securely stored by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in this context, share information with third parties.

Office365

We use the services of Office365 for our regular business email traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Office365 does not have access to our inbox and we treat all our email traffic confidentially.

Payment Processors

Klarna

For handling (part of) the payments in our online store we use the platform of Klarna. Klarna processes your name, address and residence and your payment information such as your bank account or credit card number. Klarna has appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Klarna reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and in this context to share (anonymized) data with third parties. Klarna shares personal data and information regarding your financial position with rating agencies. All the above guarantees regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to those parts of Klarna’s services for which they engage third parties. Klarna will not retain your data longer than allowed by the legal deadlines.

Shipping and logistics

PostNL

When you place an order with us, our job is to deliver your package to you. We use the services of PostNL to make the deliveries. This requires us to share your name, address and place of residence with PostNL. PostNL uses this data solely for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also provide your data to these parties.

DHL

If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of DHL to make deliveries. This requires us to share your name, address and place of residence data with DHL. DHL only uses this data to execute the contract. If DHL engages subcontractors, DHL will also make your data available to them.

GLS

If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use GLS services to make deliveries. To do this, we need to provide your name, address and address and place of residence with GLS. GLS only uses this information to execute the agreement. If GLS engages subcontractors, GLS will also make your data available to these parties.

Purpose of data processing

General purpose of processing

We use your data exclusively for our services. This means that the purpose of processing is always directly related to the order you specify. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data with us and we use this data to contact you – other than at your request – at a later time, we will ask you for your express permission to do so. Your data will not be shared with third parties except to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality under the agreement between them and us or an oath or legal obligation.

Data collected automatically

Data automatically collected by our website is processed to further improve our service. This data (e.g. your IP address, web browser and operating system) is not personal data.

Cooperation with tax and criminal investigations

In appropriate cases, Reinders Corporation may be legally required to share your data in connection with tax or criminal investigations by the government. In such a case, we are compelled to share your data, but we will do so within the possibilities provided by law.

Retention periods

We retain your data for as long as you are our customer. This means that we will keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this, we will also interpret this as a request to forget. Due to applicable administrative obligations, we must retain invoices containing your (personal) data; we therefore retain this data for as long as the applicable term runs. However, employees no longer have access to your customer profile and documents we have produced in response to your instructions.

Your rights

Under applicable Dutch and European law, as a data subject you have certain rights with respect to personal data processed by us or on our behalf. Below we explain which rights these are and how you can invoke these rights. To prevent misuse, we will in principle only send copies and transcripts of your data to your e-mail address already known to us. If you want to receive the data at another e-mail address or by mail, for example, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep records of completed requests; in the case of forgotten requests, we manage anonymized data. You will receive all copies and transcripts of data in the machine-readable data format we use within our systems. You have the right at any time to complain to the Personal Data Authority if you suspect that we are using your personal data incorrectly.

Right of inspection

You always have the right to inspect the data we process or have processed that relates to your person or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you, at the e-mail address known to us, a copy of all data with an overview of the processors who hold this data, indicating the category under which we have stored this data.

Right of correction

You always have the right to have corrected the data we process (or have processed) that relates to your person or can be traced back to you. You can submit a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the e-mail address known to us that the data has been adjusted.

Right to limit processing

You always have the right to restrict the data that we process or have processed and that relates to your person or is traceable. You can submit a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation at the e-mail address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you cancel the restriction.

Right to transferability

You always have the right to have the data we process (or have processed) that relates to your person or can be traced back to you carried out by another party. You can submit a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you, at the e-mail address known to us, copies or transcripts of all data about you that we have processed or had processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties. In all likelihood, we will no longer be able to continue to provide services in such a case, as the secure interconnection of data files can no longer be guaranteed.

Right of objection and other rights

You have the right, where appropriate, to object to the processing of your personal data by or on behalf of Reinders Corporation. If you object, we will immediately cease data processing pending the processing of your objection. If your objection is well-founded, we will provide you with copies and/or transcripts of data that we process (or have processed) and then permanently cease processing. You also have the right not to be subjected to automated individual decision-making or profiling. We do not process your data in such a way that this right applies. Cookies

Google Analytics

To measure and analyze visitor behavior, we use Google Analytics. To ensure your privacy, we have configured Google Analytics to be privacy friendly.

  • We have a processor agreement with Google.
  • We use Anonymize IP, which masks the last octet of the IP address before it is stored by Google.
  • We have turned off the “data sharing” option.
  • The function for User IDs is not
  • No other Google services are used in conjunction with the Google Analytics cookies.
  • Data retention for users and events is set to 24 months. After that period, the data collected from Google Analytics is automatically deleted.

If, despite all measures taken, you still do not want us to track your behavior anonymously, there is an opt-out option. Google has developed a special Add-On for Chrome that you can install in your browser. This Add-On prevents the tracking code of Google Analytics from forwarding information to Google. Hotjar

To measure and analyze visitor behavior, we use Hotjar. This service allows us to track visual behavior. To ensure your privacy, we have taken the following actions:

  • We have entered into a processor agreement with Hotjar.

If, despite all measures taken, you still do not want us to track your behavior anonymously, there is an opt-out option. Hotjar offers this option through their website.

Changes in privacy policy

We reserve the right to change our privacy policy at any time. However, you will always find the latest version on this page. If the new privacy policy affects how we process data already collected about you, we will notify you by email.

Security

The security of your information is important to us and we will take reasonable security measures to prevent the loss, misuse or unauthorized alteration of your information under our control. However, given the inherent risks, we cannot guarantee absolute security and consequently we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk.

Our Service may contain links to other websites not operated by us. This Privacy Policy does not address the privacy policies and other practices of third parties, including third parties that operate a website or service accessible through a link on the Service.
