Home » Reverse Osmosis
The reverse osmosis unit separates a drinking water stream into a stream of pure water, in which hardly any salts are dissolved, and a small stream of water, which is used to flush out the remaining salts.
This separation process takes place under increased water pressure and with the help of a separation membrane. Simply put, the heart of the device consists of a pressure increase pump and a separation membrane. During this process, no substances are added to or removed from the incoming water.
The installation of a reverse osmosis unit bears the following advantages:
– Reduces salinity
– Reduces heavy metals
– Reduces nitrates and sulphates
– Softens hard water
– Environmentally friendly
